Lilium speciosum var rubrum uchida
CHF25.00Price
Lilium speciosum 'Uchida' is the the darkest forms of speciosum, this superb, sweetly scented, late flowering (august-october) lily was bred by Hirotaka Uchida in Japan from wild type species speciosum in the 1930's. It is often hard to get the true uchida, as stocks are often mixed up, and you often get the usual, slightly paler speciosum. Needs an acid soil in half shade with good drainage to do well.
The medium sized bulbs on offer are still fully flowering sized but will get larger in time.
